A European Sport Week campaign to promote sport and physical activity across Europe! FREE ACCESS TO FITNESS CLUBS CHOOSE A SPECIAL LOCATION OR EVENT
On Saturday, September 21, RomaniaActive will join the European initiative #BEACTIVEDAY and the European Week of Sport to promote sport and physical activity across Europe.
Fitness clubs in Romania will offer free access to the general public in order to facilitate access to exercise and raise awareness of the health benefits of physical activity.

The #BEACTIVE DAY campaign is a European not-for-profit sports initiative that materializes the vision of getting more people in Europe more active and is designed to tackle inactivity through the core message of #BEACTIVE. The action aims to extend the message of the European Week of Sport (EWoS) through the #BEACTIVE DAY campaign.
Romania Active is one of 9 National Fitness Association partners will support and collaborate as they prepare and run their national/regional #BEACTIVE DAY 2024 campaigns. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the need to facilitate access to physical activity for all, with a particular focus on developing intergenerational physical activity provision. The consortium is composed of eight EU countries (Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Latvia, Portugal, Romania, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Portugal, Romania) and two non-EU countries (North Macedonia and Serbia), allowing strong national connections to be created and strengthened, while contributing to “sport beyond borders”.
